Rollin Honny

Rollin Honny is a Finnish rock band founded in 2025, built on one core idea: groove. The band was started by singer, guitarist and songwriter Akusti Niskanen, drawing from years of songs, live shows and long nights on the road.

Rollin Honny doesn’t rely on tricks. Its sound is rooted in straightforward rock, driven by groove and sharp, melodic songwriting. The songs often begin with a simple guitar foundation and grow into a full-band dynamic.

Guitarist Johnny Kuuri has been shaping the band’s direction from the start. New material is constantly being written together with drummer Sami Osala and bassist Lauri Kärrylä.

Despite being a new band, Rollin Honny has already worked in the studio with notable names such as Lauri Hämäläinen (known for collaborations with Poets of the Fall and Maija Vilkkumaa), as well as Sami Osala, Lauri Kärrylä and Johnny Kuuri, all with strong backgrounds in the Finnish music scene (including Sunrise Avenue, Helsingin kaupungin ooppera and Rust n Rage).

On the live side, Rollin Honny is still holding one card close; the official touring lineup will be announced later.

During summer 2026, the band performs a series of unplugged shows. These sets mainly feature cover songs, but also offer a first glimpse of Rollin Honny’s upcoming EP material in a stripped-down, acoustic form.

The summer run will culminate in Pori on August 21st, when Rollin Honny takes the stage for their debut EP release show at Ravintola Hole In One.
